Le Bistrot Le Lion d'Or - Carouge

An absolute cozy and historic bistro in the heart of carouge. We had a very warm welcoming and enjoyed every detail. We were lucky to try the delicious Christmas menu with a stunning presentation of every single dish. When you are from Geneva or just here for a a weekend you definitely need to have them on your list! (it was so worth it coming all the way from Lausanne) Always pretty booked so make sure to plan in advance. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We travelled here and dined with colleagues here for a farewell dinner of one of our colleagues. Getting a table was fairly easier than other places in Geneva to be honest.

The restuarant has a couple of good food options to choose from, service was good with excellent wine options and they made sure we have a good time at the restuarant.

It was a good experience but not a great experience. I hope to come back here and increase the rating from 3.0 to 4 and higher but this overall experience was just okay could have been better.

Organized a corporate dinner for 30 a few weeks back for the retirement of one of our colleagues. The adorable, discreet and very efficient team made his evening memorable and as organizer, I am very grateful to the team to have made my job easy and pleasant. I personally enjoyed the meal very much: generous portions, fair pricing, delicious wines, all were served nearly at the same time and the food was still hot in the plates. And the place is lovely. Many thanks to the entire team with special mention to Stephane for being so patient and kind, I'll be back often
