This airport serves as a hub to several other cities in Europe.

It's a small airport, with several retail outlets. However the design of the retail outlets gives a feeling that all businesses are housed in a small area. The area for travellers to walk through the retail area is not very broad either.

Inside the airport one can find McDonald's, Starbucks and other cafes and bars. Food is not exactly cheap but then that's the case at every airport.

The toilets were clean, although they look gloomy and old. The airport is not exciting. It presents its facilities to travellers in a dull, gloomy, crammed up environment.

The airport wifi does not seem to work. Would i like to travel through this airport in future ? Not if i could avoid it.

Currency exchange machine and Atm machines are available. Ground handling seems good. Good service with no ambiguity. Baggage wrapping services are available. Children also have a little play area

This is my local airport so I cannot avoid using it, but frankly, we could do better. Hand luggage security check area is badly conceived (head straight for the fully automated one on the far right to avoid manual checks), electronic passport gates are only open when there is an employee sitting behind each gate (eh, what is the point then???), and no matter how empty the airport is, they will always park you at the very end of their new aisle, requiring 15 minutes walking… Aircon doesn’t work on very hot days either ????. It is beyond me how such a rich area of the world can settle for such bad service

Geneva airport is probably one of the best airports in Europe. Its security screening is pretty fast (took me less than 15 minutes to go through on a weekend) and it has a great variety of shops and duty-free stores. The meditation room is a good place to rest and pray before your flight. One small thing that could be improved: offer EU electronic plugs. Not everyone travelling has Swiss adaptors.

Decent airport for departures and mediocre for landings. Lounges are relatively small but clean and comfortable and there are a limited range of shops around. Couldn’t find a pharmacy / general store which was quite disappointing. Other than that check-in and security were relatively fast and efficient.

For the second time around, I arrived in the Geneva Airport yesterday and I must say, it is more than just a transportation hub—it's a place where families from different countries are reunited, and their happiness fills the air.

As you wander through the bustling terminals, it's heartwarming to witness families reuniting after being separated by distance and time. The excitement is palpable as loved ones embrace, tears of joy stream down cheeks, and laughter fills the air. Language barriers fade away as the universal language of love takes over, transcending borders and cultures.

The airport's facilities cater to the needs of families, making the experience even more enjoyable. The spacious waiting areas provide ample seating for weary travelers, allowing families to gather comfortably while eagerly awaiting their loved ones' arrival. Children find entertainment in the dedicated play areas, keeping them happily occupied while their parents anxiously await the arrival of family members.

What sets Geneva Airport apart is its thoughtful amenities and services designed specifically for families. Baby care facilities are conveniently located throughout the airport, ensuring that parents can attend to their little ones' needs with ease and comfort. Strollers and luggage carts are readily available, making it hassle-free for families to navigate through the airport's various sections.

The airport's dining options offer a wide range of culinary delights, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Families can indulge in a variety of cuisines, savoring delicious meals together and sharing stories of their time apart. The vibrant atmosphere of the airport's restaurants and cafes further enhances the sense of togetherness and celebration.

Furthermore, Geneva Airport's commitment to safety and security provides families with peace of mind. The rigorous security measures and efficient processes ensure a smooth and secure journey for all passengers, allowing families to focus on the joyous occasion of being reunited.

In conclusion, Geneva Airport is not just a place of transit; it's a destination of love and happiness. Watching families from different countries come together, sharing their love and joy, is a testament to the power of human connection. The airport's exceptional facilities, friendly staff, and family-oriented services make it an ideal setting for these heartwarming reunions. If you're seeking a place where families are reunited and memories are made, Geneva Airport is the perfect choice.

Long corridor walk once you get off the plan was so good with mountain view! Airport is well maintained. Hassle free immigration counters. Train & Bus stations are with in the airport.
Definitely prefer flying in to Swiss through Geneva airport.

The new terminal is incredible! A major upgrade from the past. It is still small and convenient. The best part is it's location. Also, GVA puts out a really great app to track flights. There is plenty of good shopping with opportunities to buy more chocolate for the folks back home.
