Restaurant la MATZE

Small downtown location where are you can sit inside or out. Not much English spoken, but you can communicate with the wait staff which is a lot of fun. All of the food was good especially the desert !

A wonderful little restaurant in the center of Geneva. We were made to feel very welcome despite the language barrier, and despite our group being a little dubious about their being no other customers, within 30 minutes of being seated the place was almost full.
Service was quick friendly and efficient. We ordered pizza's and shared a cheese fondue and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, portion size and presentation of the food. It was really tasty and definitely great value for money. Would definitely visit again next time I visit Switzerland.

The food is interesting, I has seafood spagetti and it was quite nice, not great but not bad. But staff are really nice thats why it's 4 star not 3. And other course like salad is quite nice.

Very nice and courteous staff. Gave us a table quickly and took order without delay despite being busy. They spoke good English and clarified menu. Food preparation was quick and the pizzas and pasta were all great. Price was competitive too. The french fries beat mcdonalds/ burger king hands down as they were cut thin, very very crispy. On our request, brought heinz ketchup and a huge bowl of parmesan cheese without any fuss. Definitely recommend.

Service at the restaurant was not only good, but great. When I was struggling to communicate in French, our nice server spoke to us in Spanish. The food was really tasty and the cocktails were excellent as well. You will not be disappointed

We had to find a place to order fondue, and they didn't disappoint! The cheese was excellent, together with bread and some meat. The staff takes good care of you and it is a place you relax and makes you have a good time!

What a find! Lovely food prepared to perfection. First night mushroom risotto, which was very tasty, followed by creme brulee which was cooked to perfection. We returned a second night food was just as good. Steak fillet just melted in my mouth. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. Highly recommend this restaurant.
