Hotel Pestalozzi Lugano

I want to give three cheers to all the staff at Hotel Pestalozzi for making out stay perfect. We came to town to work at Summer Jamboree festival and staff treated us like family. Receptionists were kind, informative and quick to help us with anything we needed.
My biggest compliments to the restaurant staff. I love you all so much! I have Celiac disease, so it's not easy for me to eat away from home. Not to worry! Each day the waitstaff helped me carefully choose my meals. They were very well informed and knowledgeable about food allergens. I felt safe, and confident to eat everything I was served.
And special thanks for your patience each morning when I asked for ice to fill my water bottle ???????? You are all angels!

Great hotel with a nice basic breakfast. Budget room was small but perfect for one. Super clean and comfy. Shared bathroom was super clean and big. Hotel was very close to the water even though it looks a little further on the map. Would go back again and again

Great location next to amazing Parco Ciani.
Great for families and service was great.
Free parking (if available) and free Ticino tickets. I would stay here again.

Single rooms are quite small but perfect for one person, also have a balcony. The staff are very professional and courteous, including an excellent restaurant and breakfast

The hotel looks vintage from outside but the inside has been renovated and looks modern. The service is great and kind

The "modern" rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and updated. Great location near to Centro and the waterfront, but not too noisy. Friendly staff. Book direct with the hotel for a few small but useful perks.

Very nice and centrally located hotel right in front of the casino.
Very clean rooms, courteous and helpful staff.
The car park has very few spaces available so if you arrive at the hotel check first if there is a space available.
Excellent restaurant and breakfast.

Rooms are small, but very clean. Location is excellent--short walk from the funicular, shorter walk to the lake shore
