Sternen Muri

All in all charming place. Nice restaurant, especially the outside seating area. Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms, however, could do with a proper update. The decor is not very elegant, and I had the thinnest mattress ever made by man.

Lovely hotel, nice staff. Unfortunately the temperature was between 28 and 32 degrees during our 3 night stay. There was no air conditioning (we were told it was only available in the premier rooms) we found a desk fan that hardly moved the air and with the windows open the traffic noise kept us awake, also we were on the flight path of a small airport. I would only recommend staying here if you book the expensive rooms.

We had lunch this week here. Food was OK, location nice, we spent over 180.- for our lunch. At the end of the lunch, I ordered a glass of water for my pills, and asked the young waiter if I can - next to my coffe - only have a bigger tab water for my medicinal pills. She said yes, at the and we were charged for that water. I think this is really rude considering the amount we spent. And this is not the first time it happens here. Its rude and very inappropriate in a situation like this. If someone only drinks a water it might be halfwise appropriate but in this case it’s a total fauxpass.!

Friendly and helpful staff.great place to stay. They provide daily pass for city tour depending on the no of days of your stay.Location is very near to the bus stop muri bei bern and for supermarkets like coop.

Probably the best place in a three mile radius. If you like the somewhat cold vibe of modernism with dark colors in an otherwise stately farmhouse. I just can't adjust to it.

Very friendly staff! The room is simple and clean, we only had a fan so on hot days airconditioning would be nice. The location is perfect, just outside of the city of Bern but easy to acces by car and we even got free public transport cards. Overall a pleasant stay!

Nice hotel with enough parking space underground. Good breakfast and great food in the restaurant.
A little bit of noise on the street due to the tram, but not really disturbing.
