Our go-to, well-priced (for Zurich), delicious feed when in town. Food is always delicious and portions are great. Buffet style (which means you can try several different things) in a low key and relaxed setting, and really friendly people. We've always found there to be lots of veggie side dishes to accompany the 'main' curry (meat and vegetarian options are available, all super tasty).

Amazingly tasty and soulful food. Very authentic to its roots and home. Super yummy srilankan food with friendly service. My husband and I had the teller option. The portion size is ample. They have vegan options and non vegetarian options. They also have ala carte. The food was too good that we had Kothurotti to go. Reasonable price. Highly recommend if you feel like having South Indian or srilankan food.

Quantity of the food and taste both were so good for the price which they asked. Restaurant owner was very very friendly. Also food seems quiet authentic. Although google maps gives little bit wrong direction to reach this place but it’s quite good.

After a long day of hiking six and a half miles at Stoos and also trying to avoid spending too much in a very expensive city, I found this little gem not far from the Zurich HB train station. It's a Sri Lankan restaurant but the food is basically Indian and it really hit the spot after all that exertion. The cars are a bit heavy for me so I just avoided eating too much of the gravy but every dish was delicious. They have a cafeteria style selection and you can just point and choose multiple meets and veg with rice and papadums. They accommodated my low-carb request in omitted the rice and gave me some extra vegetables. I got a full plate of food for less than 20 Swiss francs.

The system is that you choose a base and then you choose the veggie sides.
It’s very similar to kobal (i dian restaurant) in terms of ambience snd also tiny but big enough.

Authentic and tasty food in affordable price. The staff is very friendly so it is a pleasant experience overall. If you are with family it's best place to eat good food and not heavy on the pocket. Plus you get tasty papadums. ????

Last month we visited this place, we discovered that we were there first guests of that day. Though the restuarant was not fully opened, they still offered us to sit inside while we're doing their final preparations for the days opening.

People are very polite, soft spoken and very well mannered. They showed us all the possible hospitality of the world while we were having our lunch.

The food itself was very tasty, not salty, not oily but it was perfect. We ordered two veg lunches and a portion of Samosas, they were wonderful, they provided us complimentary papads which added the charm to the food.

Overall a fine dine experience...

EXCELLENT, cheap, simple & quality indian dishes in the uptown Zurich area (CHF 15-17 per meal). I'm already a big fan of the cuisine and couldn't resist the temptation to walk in. Pleasantly surprised with the rich & authentic taste of their dishes. Good servings and u get to choose up to 3 of your vegs. All yummy! The main prawn and lamb curries were awesome.
