Weinschenke Hotel Hirschen

Fairly easy walk from train station. Great location close to all the old town sites. Bed was comfortable. Very nice staff and free slippers! We actually kept the slippers for the remainder of our trip through Switzerland and Austria. They came in handy for other hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

Worst service ever! I had a mistake with my travel dates, I reserved 2 rooms with 2 months in advance, I noticed the dates were wrong and they didn´t even have the intention to help me or find a solution to change it!! I lost more than 500 euros... Literally THIEVES
As a travel agency i won´t recommend this place NEVER EVER!!

Do yourself a favor and never go here!!!

a person who, having the solution and the tools to help you, but does not do it, does nothing more than steal from you

We made a reservation by mistake (same hotel’s name that the one in Grindewald) We notified them two months in advance to request a change and they do not want to help us although they will not have any economic damage.

It feels terrible when you are literary robbed by these kind of people. Scammers

Excellent location. Smallest bathroom I’ve ever experienced, even smaller than on cruise ships. Basic rooms with comfortable mattresses. Helpful front desk staff. Charming reception area, but you won’t find that same charm in the rooms.

Awesome historic location in Zürich Altstadt. Clean complete room. Very nice staff attends reception 24/7. Interesting view from the room window at 7th floor.

Traveling in Switzerland and flew into Zurich using a Swiss Travel Pass and wanted to be near the main train station. The Hotel Hirschen was in a great location near the river and main train station and in a wonderful walking area with nice restaurants. We loved the location and the Hotel Hirschen was reasonably priced and provided a nice double room for our needs. Easy check-in and out the but the location was just wonderful. If you are in Zurich the area around Hotel Hirschen is the place to be.
