Hotel Adler Zürich

Loved this place. The night before we were in a hotel a couple of kilometers away (the Krone), and it was nice, but sterile and in a less interesting part of town. For the same price this place was in the heart of the old city, had loads more charm and character, and far more space (including a tub, our first one on the trip!). We even had a little balcony overlooking the cobblestone square with its cafes. And, as a bonus, the restaurant downstairs is one of the best places in town to experience traditional Swiss cuisine. Highly recommended.

Hotel staff was do accommodating. They held our luggage as our room was not ready from our overnight flight. The family room was plenty big for 2 teens and 2 adults, so clean, yummy pets if you book direct and the restaurant was amazing to start off our vacation!!! Close to tram #4 stops and just sooo adorable!!!

Nice location. River is very close. Even station is at walkable distance. Rooms a bit small. Maybe European rooms are generally small. But Clean. Self service is there for luggage. Food is good since they've a nice restaurant. Cheese smell pervades the hotel. A little unpleasant. Polite Staff. And free water bottles:) Also thanks for decorating our room. Giving top review in hope they even raise the standards higher and we visit again and again ????????

This is a fantastic hotel! After a long flight from the US, my husband and I arrived at the hotel at 8am, and they made sure the housekeeper cleaned our room first so that it was ready by 10. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and a great size (we had room #201). Great cental location. View from our room included. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was good size with comfortable beds. Recommend breakfast included with room stay; eat in the adjoining restaurant where you will find a wide selection for breakfast. Staff there were very attentive. Location is perfect; off the Main Street but surrounded by old town shops and restaurants. Short walk to River and lake with great views both day and night.

Amazing hotel with amazing Swiss food. Great service by the Restaurant Manager Romano from the Restaurant. His team is well trained. So friendly and attentive.
We had the fondue with meat and it was delicious. As a dessert we ate Banana Split icecream. Definitely will come back!

The 3-star Hotel Adler is located in the center of Zürich’s Old Town. A short seven-minute walk from the Zürich Main Train Station, the hotel is a lovely blend of old and modern. Customer service upon arrival was amazing.

Used their app for pre-check-in, which saved valuable adventure time. Although room wasn’t ready due to early arrival, luggage was securely stored for free and was given a boatload of information on the public transport system, and local sites within walking distance.

Booked a Standard Single Room. Although from the photos it looks tight, it was spacious enough for me to move about comfortably. The bed was firm, which I like and the television had numerous English channels.

The mini-fridge with complimentary water and soda was a great touch. Also, loved the slippers.

The bathroom was small, but not tight. The shower was nice and powerful. There was space on the counter to put toiletries, and hooks to hang PJs.

The atmosphere inside the hotel was very quaint and respectful. Outside, there are numerous bars, clubs and restaurants, so it is very nosy at night. However, barely heard any of this as the windows were double-glazed and kept outside sound to a minimum. In fact, didn’t even hear the rain until I went down for breakfast.

Breakfast was the only part of the stay that didn’t meet expectations. Typical continental breakfast fare.

However, was surprised there were no hot options available. Glad breakfast was included in Room rate because what was offered was not worth $26.

Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The place is in heart of old town of Zurich. Very nice & comforting. The food was top class. Highly recommended in Zurich sightseeing.
